Exploring microbial world within plants is intriguing. Plants host a diverse array of microbes facilitating mutualistic benefits. The coevolution of plants with their microbial partners pose several questions about the principles underlying the dynamics and functions of microbial communities. We are trying to understand these principles to advance our knowledge on plant-microbes interactions using bacterial isolate cultures, high-throughput sequencing and inoculation experiments. This promises insights crucial to biodiversity management, sustainable agriculture and promote one health.
